I had always used the same garage but moved to Bangor and was nervous about finding a new mechanic/garage. I called Westgate first because they were closest to me but I am so glad I did! I have used them for years now and Tony is so honest, reliable, and kind! I have always received top-notch service and he communicates throughout the process. Highly recommended!

I've been taking my vehicles here for a couple years. I always wait until I have a few experiences with businesses to leave a review. I have always been treated courteously here. I have always been treated fairly here. Tony says if something is a problem that needs fixed, should be fixed, or is a suggestion, as well as why. The prices are not the cheapest or the most expensive. Personally I like that. I don't feel like I am getting ripped off, but I also don't feel like it is a shady low quality job. I always compare prices of parts and labor, and it is always below the average price, but not so low I feel they are incompetent. I plan to keep going here for all my vehicle needs.

I was told that my 2010 Subaru outback needed to be parked to dangerous to drive buy a new car . Was very confused.took it somewhere els yes needs work but not enough to have to get a new one .or even to have to park it.why was I told that .is it because I'm a woman ?

Very disappointed with my experience. I brought my car in for a simple inspection, and while the staff were friendly at first, things quickly changed. After briefly checking under my car with a flashlight and tapping on something with a hammer, Tony came in and handed me a list of supposed issues totaling over $2,300 in repairs. What surprised me most was that some of the items on the list had just recently been fixed. I decided to get a second opinion and brought my car to another shop, and it passed inspection without any problem. It felt like I was being taken advantage of, possibly because I'm a woman. This experience left me feeling frustrated and mistrustful. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on how I was treated.
